Your last option is to donate directly to a charity. You can either drive it to charity drop-off location or have them pick it up. Like hauling companies, the charity might ask for a small fee for the trouble of picking it up and hauling it away. This is a great option because you know the sofa will be going to someone who needs it. Even if your sofa has some stains, don't worry too much about that.
